Staff

One of the greatest advantages of staying in a villa is the personalised service provided by dedicated staff. The Ylang Ylang’s staff has been professionally trained and they will do their utmost to please with warm and friendly Balinese hospitality. Do let your Villa Manager know how much staff presence you’re comfortable with – for example, at mealtimes only, or on hand to serve iced drinks throughout the day – and service can be tailored to suit your preferences.

Chef

The villa includes an accomplished and experienced chef, well-versed in entertaining and culinary skills, who exceeds expectations with a broad array of gourmet western and Asian dishes.

Full-time manager

A full time manager will greet you at check-in and also doubles as a butler. Amongst other duties, he’s a dab-hand at concocting sunset cocktails.

Gardener

The gardener takes care of the villa’s beautifully landscaped gardens, immaculate lawns and tropical foliage, plus pool maintenance.

Housekeeper/butler

The housekeeper and the butler's role includes anything from serving food to keeping your bedroom immaculate and organising yoga instructors.

Kitchen assistant

The junior staff member assists the chef in the kitchen, especially at breakfast time.

Laundry

Works with housekeeping and manages all the laundry.

Maintenance/butler

The third senior staff member divides its role as necessary, whether it be for maintenance or butler duties.

Security guards

The security guards are ever-vigilant but without imposing on guest privacy. For further peace of mind, additional security back-up is provided by a local neighbourhood watch system.
